This policy covers the prostepmediaAR app for Android and the website prostepmedia.com. Both are published by Prostep Consulting Kft. (“we”). If you have a question about your data, write to info@prostep.hu.

The short version

• The app has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or date of birth.
• Payments are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or bank details.
• The camera picture used for AR stays on the device. We don’t record, store or receive it.
• The app shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics tools.
• This website uses no cookies and no tracking.

Purchases

Topics are sold as one-time purchases through Google Play. Google processes the payment under the Google Privacy Policy. To unlock what you bought, the app receives a confirmation from Google Play that contains the product, the order number and the purchase status. This confirmation is not linked to your name, and we use it only to unlock and restore your topics.

Camera and augmented reality

AR lessons use the device camera to find a floor or table and place a 3D model on it. The camera picture is processed on the device in real time. It is not recorded, saved or sent to us. You can use every 3D model without AR, and you can refuse or withdraw camera access in the Android settings at any time.

This application runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), which is provided by Google LLC and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Data stored on the device

The app keeps a few settings on the device itself, such as the graphics quality you chose and which topics are unlocked. This data never leaves the device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Children

The app is made for families. Purchases and settings are meant to be handled by a parent, and Google Play’s parental controls can require approval for every purchase. Because the app has no accounts, chat or sharing features, it does not collect personal information from children.

This website

prostepmedia.com sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other companies; even the fonts are served from our own server. Like every web server, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to identify visitors and are deleted after a limited period.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal profile about you, there is usually nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you think we hold data about you, write to info@prostep.hu; we answer every request within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).

Changes

If the app starts using a new service that processes data, we will update this page before the change is released and change the date at the top.
